Every morning we had a great breakfast in our hotel. The staff LOVED Brooks and Barrett. We got special treatment everyday.
We decided to spend our last morning on the big red bus since our feet were tired. It was easy and obviously a hit for the boys. This was a great way to get a quick glimpse of the city.
Bear and Honey (passing by the Vatican)
Brooks thought he was in a parade.
We finally bought a sun shade after dripping for 1/2 the ride.
The rest of our afternoon and evening was spent at Piazza Navona, our favorite place for eating gelato, people watching and watching all kinds of street entertainment.
For example, this cowboy is real.
An apartment that over looks Piazza Navona
The atmosphere of this square is amazing, especially at night.
Another great Italian dinner
Here is again...getting those pigeons.
And if you know me, you know I'm OK with getting rid of birds. I'm just not entertained, like Barrett it is.
Checking out of our hotel the night before we left. We had a very cool vintage key that we left in the key box every day. Again, the staff was so good to us. Our hotel was perfect location and fabulous service!
Honey aka Mama taking over stroller duty
And they're off.
Our Italy trip was a "trip of a life-time", with and without the boys! We thoroughly enjoyed traveling with Honey and Papa and couldn't have done it without them. We are most thankful for their efforts after Rome. They generously traveled home to Dallas (more than 12 hours) on a plane with the Bees. All survived, even without the stroller during the 4 hour layover in London. Then on to Honey and Papa's house for a week full of fun (HP camp, as we like to call it).
HP Camp pics coming soon!
