Over the weekend we had some friends come spend a few nights with us while their mommy and daddy went on a little trip. Our friends the Beatys are moving to Dehli, India this summer so they went to check out their new homestead. It was such a blessing to host them at our house. We had 3 boys and 3 girls all together (7 yrs old and younger). I really enjoyed it for a lot of reasons and the kids had an absolute blast. Except for their youngest, Tolan (3). He wasn't 100%. Maybe a tummy bug or maybe it was the fact that I didn't provide a decent nutrious meal once while they were here. We served up some good breakfast but there was nothing balanced about their diet while at the Junods. I'm pretty sure we brushed our teeth once but that might have been it. Don't send your kids here if you're looking for structure or hygiene :) We made some great Doha memories while they were here. Oh its so sad to see them go!
I must say that getting in and out of the car was the hardest part all weekend. Everyone needed a little help with seat belts because we had to squeeze in so tightly. I just had to plan on an extra 10 minutes for all 7 of us to get buckled up and on the road. Here's the crew heading to ASD to drop 3 of the 6 off for school.
Hava(7), Tolan(3), Georgia(1), Barrett(4), Acacia(5), Brooks(5)
Its a whole new world facing forward now!
Brooks and Acacia are in the same PreK class so they were already big buddies. After picking them up from school we went to Dairy Queen to play and have lunch (which included slushies!).
Blue tongues.
False advertising on the kids' meals at DQ. There are no Mini Blizzards in Doha and 50 cents means nothing here.
Happy Feet, Popcorn and Lemonade for Movie Night
Georgia wanted in on every detail.
6 blondies ready for church
After church it was water slide time!
Snack time. Later that afternoon we had friends and neighbors join us as well.
The next morning we were back on the slide until Libby and David were home. They had a great trip and we enjoyed the time spent with their very sweet kids. Having older girls around was a whole new world for me. All of the kids played incredibly well together! I'm not sure I'm cut out to be a mother of 6 but I loved having the house full happy kids.

Love the Easter post on the last photo - siblings at their best!
Love watching who the Lord keeps revolving through your life right now. Praying for faithfulness...
