Rough Day

Its been a bit of a rough day at our house. We all suffering from the average cold which isn't too big of a deal but we've added a few things on top of that. Brooks is worse off than any of us and really the one with a challenging day. The boys had to get the h1n1 vaccine today. The Qatar government suggests all children in school get the vaccine so they provide nurses to spend a few hours one specific day to come give free vaccinations if parents agree. Today was our day. We feel it's important to do our best defending against the piggy flu since we're about to have a tiny baby in our house, plus we regularly travel in airports and with people from all over the place. The boys were champs...didn't even cry. Little nervous but survived just fine thanks to gummy bears. After naps we played outside and unfortunately we ended our already rough day with a little taste of concrete. Brooks was racing his friend Martha when things went south...literally. He actually continued to play but I'm afraid we might see these battle scars for a while. Many more to come I'm sure.

I'm surprised this child doesn't have the wounds! He usually attracts bruises to the face!

OH MY GOODNESS That poor little banged up boy. :( We are no strangers to bumps and bruises, but that is far above and beyond the everyday battle wounds of a four year old boy!!

I miss you SO much!

POOR BABY BOY!!!! Even with all the bumps, bruises, scrapes, etc., he is still so handsome! You are going to have to lock those Junod boys up one day and keep them from those girls! We sure do miss you over here!

I will never forget when Laney was 2 years old running down the sidewalk, fell, and her sweet little face skidded across the concrete. Worst of all, it was mother's day! I felt terrible, but she survived - and no scars! Hallelujah! I hope Brooks feels better soon! Miss Ya'll!
