Days Leading Up

As baby Georgia cooked her way to 8 1/2 lbs we tried to spend our time wisely by enjoying more of Doha and honestly inducing labor ourselves.

We woke up Saturday morning and took Honey to one of our favorite places to eat, Ric's Kountry Kitchen. Known for their down home breakfast and plates full of comfort food.

After breakfast we decided we would do some serious walking hoping it might motivate Georgia to get moving. Started our walk on one end of the "Cornich" (arabic word for "along the water line") and decided to make our way to the other end where Nick's office is.

Honey, Wendi, and Georgia - ugh...I look like I'm about to pop or fall over!

We took the boys scooters/bikes so they didn't have to walk or ride in the stroller.

It was right about this point Honey's camera fell out of the stroller. Made for a very sad ending to our day. Her camera was in her jacket and somehow it fell out without us noticing. Later that afternoon we searched the entire place and finally found her jacket in the trash with no camera! So disappointing!

Finally we made it to Daddy's office and out of the horrible heat...still no Georgia or anything close to her wanting to have a birthday!

Why not ride your big wheel in the office?

Later that afternoon I visited my good friend Kelley and her new baby. We have had the same doctor and similar concerns about having our babies in Doha. She ended up with a great experience and beautiful baby!!

On our way out we snapped a few pics of the middle eastern flare at our hospital near L&D by the elevators.
How bout it!? My mom got a kick out of taking these pictures.

Boo, losing a camera is not fun! Love those photos on the hospital couch - want to blow those up and always remember them? Fancy hospital! Love that you had all this time with your mom pre-baby!

Been missing you here. Glad for this post, but sad about Jerry's camera! I soooo depend on her great skill & willing spirit for photos! Must be the genes with you girls!

Hi Sweet Friend! I have been SO wanting to call, but never sure when the right time to call would be. So - I am going to attempt it tomorrow morning and see if I can catch you guys. If not...I'll just leave a message! I love you and can't wait to catch up. Love all these pictures. Nick's office looks beautiful! WOW!
