Bunco in Doha

My friend Jackie and I wanted to bring a little game from home over to the desert so we invited a variety of friends to start our very own bunco group. Neither Jackie or I have ever been apart of a regular group at home in Texas but why not start here. We are all different ages, from all different places and work for a variety of companies here in Doha. No one knew each other very well so it was a real treat for all of us to meet and make new friends in Doha. In fact, I met two other pregnant girls due right about the same time I am. We chowed on Mexican food and played some crazy bunco. Thank goodness we had a few professional Texas Bunco girls to lead the way. The majority of our group has never played but as usual the game was a big hit as well as the money taken home by all the winners.

The ironic part about planning this bunco group was that neither Jackie or I could find dice anywhere in Doha. Thankfully we scrounged up a few from one of party participant's game closet. I had the joy of using Brooks' machine gun instead of a bell. Needless to say, we'll be grabbing some game supplies when home at Christmas

I'm so sorry I had to miss. Ya'll look like you had way more fun than I did in the ER. I wish I had known you were looking for dice. I put together a bunco set in hopes of starting one in my compound, but haven't done it yet. Let me know when the next one is.
