Old Friends and New Babies

The best part of our trip back home has been special and quality time spent with our family and friends. I have missed my friends more than anything since moving to Doha plus I've missed a lot of new births!

On my way to Waco last week I swung by Round Rock to see one of my long time friends I grew up with and also went to BU with. Jaime and I met in elementary school and have stayed very close since being in each others weddings and now having kiddos. I didn't have the boys but it was still a treat to see her house, visit, eat a yummy lunch and play with her sweet girls.

Blair so fancy with the tiara, wand, wings, purse and tutu.
Blair introduced me to Fancy Nancy, who apparently is the thing with all of Brooks' girl friends. My-my our house is so different!

On my way out of Waco last weekend I got to meet the 2nd most important Brooks in my life :)
This little Brooks was born in May. He is precious and his mommy, Julia is a special friend. Our families have lots in common and go way back. I'm looking forward to watching this little Brooks grow up. I'm a little obsessed just because of the name. He was named after his great grandfather.

Sweet Baby Caris

One of my besties, Tracy (not pictured) in Houston had a baby in June. She's one of my many super-mommy friends!

Waco Weekend

Last weekend I was truly blessed by spending precious time with some of my very best friends. Thanks to Nick's mom I was able to squeeze in some child-free girl time in Waco. Our weekend was planned around 2 special babies. Baby Clark arrived early on Monday so Katy stayed home and skipped out on the pedis considering Clark was only 4 days old. However Baby Julia isn't due to arrive until early Fall so Lauren was pampered and honored at the pedi pampering shower.

Anne-Marie - Clark's adorable big sister.
I would love an arranged marriage between Brooks and this sweet girl! Her parents are the bonus!

My blessings!

How adorable are these for "take-aways". Mama Katy is so creative!

After showering...we stayed up late talking and playing with this sweet girl. Payton was born in Feburary while we were in Doha. I've missed a lot of babies that have been born so its been fun meeting a lot of new little ones.

The next day we slept late and enjoyed the sun.

We spent the afternoon with Katy again.
These are pics of her adorable nursery.

Check out this cuteness. Notice the bicycle canvas that Katy painted herself!

Ahh...Ninfa's for dinner. Awesome! - we missed you, Shannon and Katy!

Of course I couldn't resist a few BU purchases for my little bears at home.
The insisted to wear them for PJ's.

AAAAAA......Sic'Em Bears!!

Thanks Shan, for being the photog...great pics!

Watkins 4th of July

Obviously the 4th of July was very different this year for our Junod family. For one, we weren't together with Daddy but mostly we just appreciated the day and our freedom more than ever. We celebrated with the extended Watkins family, which is always fun. Since I grew up with my cousins close by big family get-togethers are just part of what we do when we're home. I love it!

Back in the US of A

After our Arkansas run I spent a few days just hanging out at my parents with the boys. Didn't take long for us to miss Daddy like crazy, especially when we do the stuff he loves the most! These posts are hard for me to write and hard for sweet Daddy to read. Wish he was here to feel the comforts of home. Just a few more weeks!

Hanging with our Dallas boys...Stacy and Wyatt!
This place was awesome! We'll be back before returning to Doha.

Caryn and all the boys. I have shared "life" with this sweet friend is some very precious and special ways. It was such a treat to hang with her and her boys who are exactly like the boys in my world!
We are going to make ourselves sick on Chick-Fil-A before heading back to Doha.

Fun times on Papa's boat

Is there anything better for boys than watching construction on a bridge from a boat!

Fishing with Papa

Bear thought it was a good idea until the fish came out of the water.
